The purpose of this website
is to serve as a unbiased
guide to all Restaurants,
Cafes, Bars or any kind of
eatery in Tallinn. All
restaurants are given the
opportunity to be reviewed
on this site for no fee. All
establishments are reviewed
every 6 months.
The site is new having been
launched in January 2006 and
we are still reviewing
restaurants on an ongoing
basis so keep checking back.
The reviewers do not take
gratuities for good reviews
and the restaurant staff
don't know they are being
reviewed until after the
meal. The reviewers are
Tallinn residents so it is
quite likely that the
reviewer's opinions' have
been based on more than one
dining experience. |

Texas Honky
Tonk
Given
that the food isn't Texas's strong
point I would have to agree with the
managements decision to push the bar
side of the establishment more.
However, if they are going to
do this I would recommend qualify it
with action to make it more "bar
like". ...

Controvento
Controvento is a superb restaurant
with friendly, professional staff
serving top quality Italian food in
wonderful surroundings. A three
course dinner for two with drinks
will cost in the region of 1000 EEK
(£45.00/$85.00). For the quality of
food and the ambience in this
excellent Italian restaurant this is
great value. On all levels it really
is one of Tallinn’s best; coming
from this web site that is really
saying something!...read

Sushi House
Sushi
House is a restaurant that comes in
at the top end of the crowd. As a
self proclaimed
Japanese/International fusion
restaurant it does a great job of
giving you at least what you would
expect and maybe what you had hoped
for...read

Villa Thai
I have only visited Villa Thai once.
It's location near to Kadriorg really
does keep it off many people radar
when deciding where to eat. Although
it it easy to find being visible
from Narva Mnt when standing outside
the Baptist Church or Ballys Casino,
both prominent landmarks....read

Bakuu
Bakuu is a relative new comer to
Tallinn having opened its doors in
Summer of 2005.
I noticed it many time on my
usual route in and out of the Old
Town and even checked the menu out a
couple of times. However its wasn't
until January of 2006 that I first
visited on the recommendation of a
fellow expat...

Must Lamas
I have to admit I was very
excited to have been asked to review
this restaurant. It has been one of
those that I had just not got around
to checking out. I had heard good
things and was encouraged by their
very done website. However, I cant
say that my expatiations where met...read

Liivi Steakhouse
The
restaurants name really does
say it all. If you like
steak this place is a good
option. Ox steak is even on
offer! The variety of sauces
and styles is good, the
portions large, the service
is polite if a little
understated and the wine
list good and very
descriptive...read
